2019 Spring Girls Softball Clinic:

Registration opens on January 30th at 10:00 am.  This program will be listed under 2019 Spring, but will not be visible until the scheduled day/time.  

2019 Spring Youth Softball House League (2nd-3rd Graders):

Registration opens on January 30th at 10:00 am.  This program will be listed under 2019 Spring, but will not be visible until the scheduled day/time.  

2018 Spring Youth Softball Shared Rec League (4th-5th Graders)

Registration opens on January 30th at 10:00 am.  This program will be listed under 2019 Spring, but will not be visible until the scheduled day/time.  

2018 Spring Youth Softball Shared Rec League (6th-8th Graders)

Registration opens on January 30th at 10:00 am.  This program will be listed under 2019 Spring, but will not be visible until the scheduled day/time.  


Volunteer to Coach!

All teams in the 2-3 House League, 4-5 Shared League, and 6-8 Shared League are coached by volunteer coaches.  

 

The K-1 Clinic is coached by Amanda Schroder, but this program runs best with volunteer coaches to help run drills.

 

Once completed, all volunteer applications should be sent to Julie Buonaguro:

Pre-Season Coaches Meeting

A pre-season coaches meeting will be held in March.  All volunteer coaches are expected to attend.  Please check back for more information!

The Shared Rec League (4th - 8th graders) follow USA Softball Rules.  

 

The following document contains rule modifications which were agreed upon by all administrators in the D2 Shared Rec League.

Youth Softball - Pitch, Hit & Run Competition:

We held our first-ever Pitch, Hit & Run competition for youth softball players on May 11th, 2018 at Kramer Manor Park.  25 girls signed up to take part in this event, which is the "official skills competition of Major League Baseball."  Pictured below are some of our divisional winners.  We will be hosting this event again in 2019!!! SPF Softball Recognized at Somerset Patriots Game Last Summer!

 

As part of National Park & Recreation Month, SPF softball players were invited to TD Bank Ballpark to be recognized before a Somerset Patriots game on July 25, 2018.
