VIRTUAL HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST

RULES & REGULATIONS:

 

  • All Scotch Plains and Fanwood residents are eligible to participate in this contest
    • Minors must have permission from a parent/legal guardian to participate
  • There will be 4 contest categories: 
    • Most creative costume
    • Cutest costume
    • Scariest costume
    • Home decorating contest
  • It is FREE to participate in this event, but all participants must sign up through Community Pass
    • Registration Opens: Friday, October 9th, at 10:00 am
    • Registration Closes: Sunday, October 18th, at 11:00 am
  • After signing up on Community Pass, please email a photo of your submission to Julie Buonaguro and include your name, participant group, and category 
  • The Recreation Department reserves the right to withdraw submissions if they are deemed as offensive
  • By registering for the contest, participants agree to let the Scotch Plains Department of Parks and Recreation share their photo submissions
    • Photo submissions may be shared on our website, Facebook page, and TV34
  • Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges

CONTEST WINNERS

  • Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 submissions in each category
  • Winners will be announced in-person on the Alan M. Augustine Village Green prior to the movie event
    • A separate registration is required to attend the in-person event
