Scotch Plains Shows Its Pride
Although the Pride in the Park event was postponed on Tuesday, June 8 due to inclement weather, township officials still participated in the Pride flag-raising ceremony at Town Hall to show their support. On Monday, June 7 at the Council Meeting, the council presented the Pride Proclamation.
The Pride flag will fly proudly above the Municipal Building throughout the remainder of the month as we recognize and celebrate the impact that the LGBTQ community has on the world while advocating for equal rights.
While a reschedule date for Pride in the Park has not yet been announced, details are being finalized for an event later this month. Stay tuned for updates!
