JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - Laborer 1 (Permanent)
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Will be required to perform various types of manual and skilled labor
- May be required to drive a truck in connection with laboring work on some occasions
- Maintaining the parks and facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment, which includes sanitizing of facilities as well as trash removal
- Work involves the use of hand tools, power tools, and lawn/garden equipment
- Makes repairs to playgrounds and equipment as needed
- Often works in all types of weather conditions
- May perform work independently or be part of a crew
- Must be available to work scheduled shifts, as well as emergency overtime shifts

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must possess valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – CLASS B
- Pesticide license not required, but applicant must be willing to obtain if hired
