Please take a look at the itinerary for National Veterans Small Business Week. We are sending this message to procurement professionals, supplier diversity specialists, veteran businesses, military spouse businesses, state agencies, utilities, and more. We are asking you to participate in National Veterans Small Business Week. The NJ State Veterans Chamber of Commerce wants to raise awareness of doing business with veteran businesses, especially the week leading into veterans day.

We have put together a fantastic itinerary of events for national Veterans Small Business Week. These events will take place from Nov 1st - Nov 11th. Please do your best to try and attend all the events. The schedule will be as follows:

* Vet Talks Program on 11/1 at 12PM EST - Webinar conducted by the NJSVCC & NJ SBDC covering online marketing & advertising strategies and best practices for your business. This will cover the best ways to get your business front and center with your customers. This is a 1 hour virtual webinar. You can register for it here:

* Vet Talks Program on 11/2 at 12PM EST - Webinar on Enhancing your capability statements - conducted by NJSVCC and NJ SCORE - This will show you what good looks like and what you need to have to enhance your capability statement. This is a 1 hour virtual webinar. You can register here:

* Vet Talks Program on 11/3 at 12PM EST - Webinar on the status of veteran entrepreneurship in New Jersey - a panel discussion with IVMF from Syracuse University, J&J, NJEDA, Treasury, NJSVCC, and veteran entrepreneurs - We will look at specific data points and discuss the current situation of veteran businesses in NJ. * 1:1 Virtual matchmaking event - This event is a 3-day event from 6-8 Nov 9AM - 5PM on mybuinessmatches.com. Registration is required for both suppliers and buyers at the link below. Veteran & Military Spouse owned businesses can set up their virtual table, with your capability statement and brochures, and meet 1:1 with buyers from various industries including all of the utilities that operate in New Jersey. This is a joint program between the NJSVCC and the BPU's supplier diversity development council (SDDC). Meet with buyers that want to do business with you! Everyone must register in advance here:

* Veterans Music Fest - We will culminate National Veterans Small Business Week with our Veterans Music Fest. This is a live event which will take place on 11/11 (Veterans Day) starting at 1PM at D'Jais in Belmar. Tickets to the event can be purchased here:
