Summer Road Resurfacing Program 2023

Each year, the Township Council dedicates dollars in the capital budget to the road resurfacing program which is supplemented by funds from a County grant. Leadership in the DPW continuously collaborates with Township Engineer to evaluate municipal roads throughout the year and create a list of priority streets. The township tries to complete as many as possible (typically between 5-7 per year). Paving has begun and residents of the streets will be notified ahead of time so they can plan  accordingly.

Below are the streets scheduled for 2023.

SOUTH SIDE:

• Essex Road
• Balmoral Lane
• Jefferson Ave (only half)
• Lincoln Ave (only half)      

NORTH SIDE:

• Redwood Road
• Scotland Street
• Union Ave (Rt22 to Mountain Ave)
• Montague Ave (Grand to Mountain)
