Township Officials Show Support on Jamming for Jacob Day
Township officials came out to show their support for Jamming for Jacob Day at the Ashbrook Country Club on Saturday afternoon.
The event, benefitting 12-year-old Jacob Benedicto, who is being treated for a rare form of cancer, known as Rhabdomyosarcoma was initially started to help raise funds for the SP-F 12U Blue baseball team's trip to Cooperstown, NY.
Nearly $40,000 was raised by the “Jam Kancer in the Kan Foundation,” which will be used to help offset the medical costs of Jacob’s off-the-field battle and the team's trip to Cooperstown.
