2026 Scotch Plains Brush Pick Up is Wrapping Up!
The Northside of town has been completed. DPW crews will be continuing pick-up on the Southside of town for the next couple of weeks.
- Scotch Plains conducts one spring brush & limb collection each year.
- Items may be placed at the curb no more than 10 days prior to the collection start date.
- All residents should place leaves, gumballs and branches in separate piles leaving a small gully before the curb for pickup.
- Branches need to be cut to no longer than 6 feet in length and 2 inches in diameter.
- No logs or stumps will be taken.
- Crews will be on both the North and South sides of town simultaneously.
- Residents are kindly reminded that township ordinance prohibits putting vegetative waste at the curb unless a pick-up is scheduled.
Residents who have more vegetation to dispose of can purchase a permit to dispose at the Westfield Conservation Center: www.westfieldnj.gov/conservation.
Please note: Leaf collection will begin in late October.
