The Historical Society of Scotch Plains and Fanwood invites you to meet DC Stephenson, The Most Hateful American Ever, at its April 28th meeting which begins at 7:30 PM and is held at the historic Shady Rest Country Club, 820 Jerusalem Road, Scotch Plains.  Meet JD Stephenson:  wife beater, deadbeat dad, conman, racist, raging alcoholic, sadistic sexual predator, murderer—and the most powerful Ku Klux Klan leader in the 1920’s.  Find out how Stephenson and the Klan rose to power, only to be taken down by the deathbed testimony of his murder victim in this next historical true crime presentation with local author and historian JD Solomon. 

The meeting is free and open to everyone .  No registration is required.  Fellowship and refreshments follow the meeting.
