Celebrate the Colonial Ball - October 24

All are invited to step back in time to honor America’s 250th anniversary at the Colonial Ball on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

The evening celebration, scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. at the historic Shady Rest Country Club, will feature traditional colonial dancing, live period music, games, and a colonial-themed food tasting. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet historic figures throughout the night, with guests encouraged—though not required—to dress in period-accurate colonial attire.

Tickets are priced at $75 per person, with free parking provided on site. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit three of Scotch Plains’ most prominent historic landmarks: the Shady Rest Country Club, the Osborn Cannonball House, and the Frazee House.
