Important Information from the Tax Collector’s Office

Many residents may be looking for their third quarter tax amount due on August 1^st. The Township is awaiting the final tax rate for 2026 from the Union County Board of Taxation. The grace period for the third quarter will be extended to give residents sufficient time to pay. We will provide an update as soon as we have new information to share.

When we have a confirmed tax rate, third quarter tax amounts will show on our online payment portal. Residents can sign up for AutoPay, make a one-time payment or view and print their tax bill prior to receiving it in the mail at www.scotchplainsnj.gov.

As a reminder, sewer bills were previously mailed out and are due on September 1^st.
