9/11 Memorial Ceremony
The Township of Scotch Plains is urging residents and guests to attend the annual remembrance of 9/11 at the annual ceremony, to be held Friday, Sept. 11, at 5:30 p.m. at the Alan M. Augustine Village Green on Park Avenue.
The event honors first responders and remembers those we lost to the terrorist attacks on Sep. 11, 2001, including Scotch Plains residents:

- James Walsh
- Mark David “Mickey” Rothenberg
