Columbus Day Event - Oct. 10

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO will host its annual Columbus Day ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 10, bringing community members and local leaders together at Alan M. Augustine Park.

The event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature guest remarks on the history and significance of Columbus Day, alongside light refreshments for attendees.

Organizers noted that in the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors to the municipal courtroom to ensure the program continues as planned.
