Scotch Plains Recreation Commission (S.P.R.C.)
About the S.P.R.C
This group of volunteers gives a tremendous amount of their time to the community. The commission is a group of volunteers appointed by the township manager that oversees and sets policy for the parks, programs, and other activities. SPRC meetings take place at Shady Rest (820 Jerusalem Road in Scotch Plains). The public is welcome to attend any of the public meetings and is encouraged to do so.

The Recreation Commission scheduled for Monday, June 15th, will take place outdoors at Haven Park (336 Haven Avenue). However, in the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be moved back indoors to Shady Rest Country Club (820 Jerusalem Road).
