2026 Property Tax Bills UPDATE
The 2026 tax bills were mailed September 9 and are arriving in mailboxes now.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
-
OCTOBER 5, 2026 — Third-Quarter Taxes:
The grace period has been extended to October 5. Payment must be physically received by this date. Postmarks are not accepted. Payments received after October 5 will be subject to interest back to the statutory August 1 due date. -
SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 — AutoPay Enrollment:
This is the final day to enroll in AutoPay for the third-quarter payment. AutoPay will be debited September 25. -
NOVEMBER 1, 2026 — Fourth-Quarter Taxes:
The fourth-quarter tax payment remains due November 1, with the standard 10-day grace period. The fourth quarter does not need to be paid at this time.
ONLINE PAYMENT REMINDER
To pay only the third quarter through the payment portal, select “Pay Other Tax Quarters” and check “Taxes due prior to 11/01/2026.”
Residents can pay online, through bank BillPay, by mail, in person, or using the 24/7 drop box located in the Police Department.
If paying online on October 5, use the One-Time Payment option. If you have created an account on our payment portal and wish to schedule a payment for a future date, you must do it before October 4 because a scheduled payment cannot be set up for the same day; the earliest available date to schedule a payment on October 5 would be October 6 and this would be considered late.
Please do not wait until the last day to pay. Online payments can be delayed or returned because of incorrect account information or insufficient funds, which may result in interest charges.
2027 ASSESSMENTS
The 2026 tax bill is based on the existing tax assessments. New assessments will be used for the first time for 2027 tax bills. The first two quarters of 2027 shown on your bill are preliminary and calculated as 50% of the 2026 taxes. Any change resulting from the new assessments will be reflected on the third- and fourth-quarter 2027 bills.
